About Plaunty Building Group, Inc.

Aaron Plaunty, President of the Plaunty Building Group Inc. got his start as a homebuilder when building his own house in 1998. At that time he was a science teacher and working on his Masters in Educational Administration. Aaron grew up in this area, graduating from Silsbee High School and receiving a Bachelors and Masters from Lamar University in Beaumont. He and his wife have lived in Lumberton since 1998, and have two children. After selling his first house, he built two more. He had the skills to be a productive and successful homebuilder, so after working as a principal at a local school, he began homebuilding full time.

In addition to the homes and projects that you see on this site, Aaron builds custom homes for those that want an expert in the field. He has established lifelong relationships with those he works with and those that contract with him. He is very knowledgeable in the homebuilding business of Southeast Texas, and his great craftsmanship can be seen in his homes all over the Golden Triangle. Several homeowners have come to him to build their dream home because of his reputation of building a very fine and elegant home. He is especially fond of New Orleans, French Acadian, and Plantation style homes, and his admiration can be seen not only on the outside, but throughout his custom homes.

Aaron travels into several regions to search for innovative ideas, and to also create that ideal look to go with a particular home’s originality.
